I have been in technology since 1991. I began my career teaching on contract at a small software training company called Learning Network Inc. I taught DOS, Lotus Notes and WordPerfect. I expanded my computer software training to other facilities such as Central Piedmont Community College, York Technical College, Gaston College, and IBM. During this time, I taught over 30 different software classes ranging from beginners to advanced classes in all software platforms, from operating systems, spreadsheets, word processers and databases.
I developed a talent for working with databases and cultivated a niche in software consulting. I have HUB certification and have worked with small businesses, large government entities, and fortune 500 companies, representing a wide range of industries. I have a strong skill set in process improvement, whether by using a database to automate a process or by sourcing and implementing a new tool to solve a problem. I take pride in my work and enjoy working with my clients to make their processes more efficient and user friendly. Learning new software and technologies is something I enjoy, especially when it’s something that I can take back to other clients and make a positive impact.
